Environmental Standards

ANSI/NSF Standard 51 – Food Equipment Materials granted by National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) that proves VICOSTONE’s products to be safe for food, public health and environment when they are directly contacted. Moreover, the non-porous property of the product surface makes maintenance easier and simpler.

 

 

GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality and GREENGUARD Children and Schools granted by the GreenGuard Environmental Institute recognizes that all VICOSTONE’s products are safe for indoor air quality, children and schools.

 

All VICOSTONE’s products meet GREENGUARD standards. That means, all VICOSTONE’s products are certified to have low chemical emissions, and safe materials for health, home environment, children and schools.

 

 

EN 15285:2008 standard under the CE (Conformité Européenne or European Conformity) marking on our products ensures that the products are in conformity with the essential requirements of the applicable EC directives.

 

Microbial Resistance certification granted by the GreenGuard Environmental Institute to certify that VICOSTONE’s products are resistant to surface molds, microbes, thus giving a guarantee of safety for environment and users.

 

 

ISO 14001

VICOSTONE’s manufacturing and business activities are checked and controlled strictly by VICOSTONE’s environmental policies and comply with the requirements of ISO 14001.

 

ISO 14000 is a series of international standards on environmental management developed and issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It gives the essential requirements for an environmental management system and is applied for environmental aspects controlled by an organization.

 

VICOSTONE always provides preferential resources to remain and enhance ISO 14001:2004 continuously.

 

 

ISO 9001:2008

VICOSTONE’s manufacturing and business activities are performed in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system promulgated by the International Organization of Standardization stipulating the necessary requirements of a quality management system for enterprises to set their own clear business targets and policies.

 

ISO 9001:2008 is the latest version, amended the fourth time by the ISO and gives 8 basic principles of quality management to help organizations set up, apply and enhance the quality management phases more often.

 

 

SA 8000

VICOSTONE has been granted SA 8000:2008 certification by Social Accountability International (SAI) to assure and improve working conditions for our employees.

 

The principles of the SA 8000 standard based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the International Labor Organization’s conventions.
